Perhaps, it would be sweet
to fall asleep and will never awake
When all the pains and sorrows abound
often weary and down

Perhaps, it would be sweet
to find a moment relief
from worries I have within
Only to numb this aching wounded heart
and restless mind in a cold sleepless night

Teardrops fill my eyes time and again
and tomorrow seems another long tiring day
